Ocean View is a small town located just a short drive from the town of Bethany Beach. This small town boasts a large year round population. Incorporated on April 13, 1889, the town was originally known for its chicken farming and was once home to many chicken houses. Since then most have made their way further inland as locals and developers have discovered how valuable this close in town has become.
Affectionately called the “bedroom town” of nearby Bethany Beach, This town is super attractive to those looking for a small town feel within minutes of Bethany Beach, and at a more attractive price to boot.
The town is not only convenient to the nearby beach town of Bethany but is also well connected to more inland towns such as Millville, Dagsboro and Millsboro.
