LEWES - 38°46′28″N 75°08′22″W

Lewes has a special place in my heart. It is a true small coastal town that rivals those of Cape Cod. You will find a thriving main street with brick sidewalks and shops among historic homes. Lewes was the first European settlement in Delaware on June 3, 1631 and the towns culture reflects that.

Not only can you take advantage of the shops and restaurants but also the beach. There are public and private beaches along Lewes, some of which make up the Delaware State Seashore park - Cape Henlopen. This park is home to many relics from past world wars- furthering the towns strong roots in history.

Lewes is one of my favorite towns to head to for a nice dinner and stroll around downtown for some ice cream on a warm summer nightHere in Lewes you will find an array of condos, townhouses and single family homes - both historic and newer construction.

Ready to call Lewes home and take in all of its rich history?!
